These two-story buildings include top floor and bottom floor units with a central covered breezeway that provides access with an open staircase to the upper levels. There are twenty-seven separate residential buildings with eight units in each building for a total of 216 properties. They include one-bedroom units with one or one and one-half baths that encompass 750 to 850 square feet. Two-bedroom properties with two baths are 950 square feet in size. Gulf Terrace Amenities

Approximately half of the Gulf Terrace buildings overlook a long lagoon named Aladdin Lake, which is adorned by a fountain that is uplighted at night. These are the most highly sought after units since they are located on the lovely waterfront side. They view the natural lagoon-like lake, a charming pedestrian bridge that gracefully arches over the water to the other side of the community, and distant views of Destin's gulf-front towers. Gulf Terrace features three swimming pools, one of which is seasonally heated during the year's cooler times. One is located on the west side of the lagoon, while another larger pool with an expansive patio for sunning is right across the pedestrian bridge on the other side. A Club House with bathroom facilities, dressing rooms, and showers is beside it. The third swimming pool is a little further east next to a double set of tennis courts lighted for cool night play when it's hot out.

Gulf Terrace Location

This Destin location is only a short drive away from local neighborhood beach access points and family amusements, including the popular Big Kahuna's Waterpark, which also has a lush tropically landscaped miniature golf course along with some Thrill Rides. A favorite retail destination known as Destin Commons is also close by, featuring a lovely European styled village complete with restaurants, an AMC Multiplex Movie Theater, fashion boutiques, shoe shops, fine clothiers, jewelers, and various specialty shops. HarborWalk also features pontoon or watercraft rentals, private charter fishing trips, delightful dolphin sightseeing excursions, romantic sunset cruises, and even a rollicking treasure adventure aboard a big mast sail ship with a crew of pirates.
