Destin comes complete with beautiful beaches, fabulous fishing, great golfing, outstanding shopping venues, world class dining and an abundance of water sports. Ocean Reef is proud to be situated in this perfect paradise providing real estate consultations and information to buyers who are seeking fine distinctive homes as well as luxurious condominiums. In recent years the rest of the nation have discovered these sugar white shores, and not just for vacations, but for year round living. The thriving fishing enterprises became a founding catalyst for this area of Northwest Florida back in the mid 1800s and today Destin boasts the largest private charter fleet on the entire Gulf of Mexico.

In later years tourists became mesmerized by the magnificent natural beauty of the sugar white quartz crystal beaches and jewel toned waters of the gorgeous gulf. Residential neighborhoods and high rise condominiums started to be developed.  In a relatively short period of time private gated communities, gulf front condominiums, championship golf courses, restaurants, shopping centers, Destin Commons and Harborwalk Village were completed. Today Destin is a major destination for tourists as the “crown jewel” of the Emerald Coast and many more are living here and establishing their primary residences in this heavenly locale.  Besides abundant amusements, a lovely lifestyle, pristine cleanliness, plenty of grocery stores, lots of pharmacies and a low crime rate, Destin schools receive the highest scholastic rating available.
